At OKIO, we love candles! They have been a symbol of warmth and tranquillity for centuries, and always cherished in our daily lives.The simple act of lightening a candle is something almost magical. The flickering flame can instantly soothe us, and the warm, cosy glow can transform the mood and elevate the spirit.

Unfortunately, it has been always hard for us to find a candle that did meet our expectations.

We wanted something beautiful that would burn clean, without polluting the air of our homes or blackening the walls. We also wanted something that was in line with our eco-friendly way of living. We love our planet and all its inhabitants and we think that beeswax is for the bees!

Poor quality candles made with toxic ingredients are ubiquitous on the market, and good quality candles are hard to find and very expensive. Enter OKIO!

In 2023, OKIO was born with the intention to create not just home-decor candles but something truly special.

We craft our candles in small batches to ensure a higher quality, and we use only clean and sustainable ingredients.
